So guys today's blog is gonna be worth reading so read it till the end because today we are gonna talk about bizarre and scary traditions from around the world that would make you feel hella uncomfortable and u just would not want to experience any of these i promise so let's get started with our today's list.
1) BULLET ANT GLOVES OF THE SATERE-MAWE TRIBE:- When boys of this Amazonian tribe turn a certain age they must prove their manhood by following a tradition that's torturous and terrifying The young men trap bullet ants which are then drugged by a medicine man, who places the deadly creatures in woven mitts. It is said the sting of a bullet ant can be compared to a bullet hitting the flesh. The young men then have to wear the mitts on their hands and dance for ten minutes to take their mind of the pain. Satere-Mawe men have to go through this ritual at least 20 times in their lifetime this is the most stupid thing ever i mean wearing a pair of dangerous gloves to prove their manhood bruh really.
2) THE BATHROOM BAN:- Imagine getting married but being prohibited to use the washroom well newly married couples of the Tidong community in Indonesia are prohibited to use the washroom for three or more days after marriage because it is a tradition and whoever breaks the rules gets bad luck in their married life like stillbirth of their child or even death relatives of the couple supervise them for three days and then afterwards they are allowed to bathe and do whatever they want well if i lived there i would definitely stay single for the rest the of my life i mean skipping nature's call is not even a freaking option.
3) THROWING THE BABY:- In Karnataka India there is a tradition in which newborn babies are thrown 50 feet high from the Sri Santeswar temple before you jump to any conclusions just know that their relatives are standing with a big cloth in their hand to catch the baby well this tradition is only followed by the couples who are blessed with a baby after taking a vow at the temple this tradition is 500 years old it is believed to bring good luck in the baby's life.
4) THE FINGER CUTTING TRADITION:- This tradition in the Dani tribe in Indonesia takes bizarre to a whole new level. When a family member passes away, women from this tribe have to suffer physical pain besides suffering from emotional grief. And to do so, they cut off a part of their fingers. This is supposedly done to 'satisfy ancestral ghosts.' Well i wonder why men don't follow this so called tradition.
So guys this is where we reach the end do follow take care bye.
With Love,
